How do I make it effortless for you?

First, I’m easygoing by nature. After years of photographing newborns, I’ve learned that patience is everything. Whether your little one is extra wiggly or needs a moment to fuss, there’s never any pressure. I always get what I need — gently and naturally.

I never rush a session. Babies sometimes just need time.
Time to feel warm and safe.
Time to settle.
Time to eat if needed.

And that’s perfectly okay.

When proud big siblings are involved, I read the room and thoughtfully plan the flow of the session around their personalities and attention spans, too.

All of this means you get to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sweetest show — watching your tiny newborn swaddled snugly, while we all admire just how perfect they are.

The Process

  • We’ll start by connecting in a way that’s easiest for you—by phone or email—to chat about your newborn and family. During this time, we’ll go over all the important details: whether you’d like to include older siblings, pets, or special elements, along with your estimated delivery date and any questions you may have.

    Once we’ve talked through everything, we’ll place a tentative newborn session date on the calendar based around your due date. Because babies arrive on their own schedule, I’m always flexible and happy to adjust if your session needs to be moved earlier or pushed back. My goal is to make the entire experience stress-free, relaxed, and tailored to your family.

  • Let’s chat through all the session details together. We’ll decide on the best location for your shoot—whether that’s the comfort of your home or one of several beautiful studio options in the area if your home isn’t well lit.

    We’ll also go over outfit choices and color palettes that photograph best, so everything feels cohesive and timeless. To make the process easy and stress-free, you’ll receive a session prep guide with tips to help you feel confident and ensure the best possible outcome for your shoot.

  • On the day of your session, I’ll arrive with all of my gear and everything your baby will need for the shoot. I take a relaxed, baby-led approach, allowing the session to unfold naturally and without pressure.

    If your baby needs extra cuddles or is feeling fussy, we’ll start with family photos and move at their pace. When siblings are included, we’ll photograph them at a time when they’re happiest and most comfortable. I’m always happy to shift direction as needed to keep the experience smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable for everyone.

  • After your session, you can expect to receive your images within three weeks or less. Your photos will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you’ll be able to download high-resolution, print-ready images to use wherever you’d like.

    If you’re interested in turning your images into artwork—such as albums or framed prints—I’m happy to walk you through the available options after you’ve viewed your gallery. My goal is to help you preserve your images in a way that fits your home and your family perfectly.

  • Typical newborn sessions last around two hours, allowing plenty of time for feedings, soothing, and breaks so your baby stays comfortable and relaxed. These sessions are never rushed and are designed to move at your baby’s pace.

    If older siblings are included—especially younger children—additional time may be needed to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. This flexibility helps create a calm experience and natural, heartfelt images for your family.

  • Because every family is unique, I don’t believe in fitting everyone into a single style or outfit formula. I’ll guide you in choosing colors and tones that photograph beautifully together, but my priority is that your family feels comfortable and confident.

    When you feel good in what you’re wearing, it shows. I want your personalities to shine through naturally, creating images that feel genuine, effortless, and true to who you are.

  • Yes!

    I will bring swaddles, baskets, headbands, anything baby needs for the shoot.

  • I’m laid back, extremely patient, and bring a good sense of humor to every session—clients often tell me they end up having way more fun than they expected.

  • Let’s be honest—none of us are naturally “good” in front of the camera unless we’re professional models. And that’s completely okay. You’re in good hands.

    I’ll guide you through every pose and positioning so you feel comfortable and confident. My goal is to make the experience easy and enjoyable, while capturing authentic moments that feel natural and effortless.

  • Your privacy is my top priority.
    If you prefer that your images are not shared on social media, simply let me know and I will not post them. Your comfort and trust matter most, and I’m happy to respect your wishes.
