The Childhood Collection | A Summer Series

Now that summer is here and life has taken on a slower pace, I've been updating my own kids' photos. It reminded me just how quickly these seasons of childhood pass, and it inspired me to create something special for other parents who want to preserve their children exactly as they are right now—their personalities, passions, and the little things that make this stage so memorable.

That's how The Childhood Collection was born.

When Kaylee reached out, she knew exactly what she wanted: to document her children's unique personalities. She created a vision board that brought her ideas to life beautifully. For the perfect backdrop, she envisioned a timeless Palm Beach aesthetic—and where better than Palm Beach Island? It's the epitome of classic Palm Beach style and charm.

For her daughter, we captured an adorable tea party filled with all things girly. For her son, it was all about soccer and celebrating what he loves most. These sessions are about more than beautiful portraits—they're about telling the story of childhood through the activities that make each child uniquely themselves.

To wrap up the session, Mom Kaylee wanted to capture one of childhood's most timeless traditions—eating ice cream. We made our way to Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in the new Nora District in West Palm Beach, just a short drive from Palm Beach Island. It was the perfect ending to their session, filled with genuine smiles, sticky fingers, and sweet memories. Sometimes it's the simplest moments that become the ones we treasure most.
