Laura and I go way back, like back to Kindergarten. We went to school together for a few years, then didn’t see each other until her wedding day this past Saturday. I had photographed a wedding at her parent’s home last February, and that’s how we reconnected. How cool is that?
I love that she chose to marry at her parent’s home. The property is gorgeous and aligned perfectly with Laura’s + Ken’s southern wedding vision. Romantic string lights led the way to the ceremony and reception location, and rustic chic decor added to the charm.
Laura + Ken are so perfect for one another, and looked like the stepped out of a wedding magazine…. Straight up models! You’ll agree when you scroll through the photos. They met at the Breakers where they both worked. Ken was the guy that trained Laura in her new position, and they fell in love. So cute! They have the most adorable daughter together, and it was so special seeing her as a flower girl. I think she will look back on these photos when she’s older and cherish them. What an amazing day, Laura and Ken! Thank you Thank you for having me photograph your wedding! I loved it!
I also have to give a special shout out to my friend and fellow photog, Kristen Browning. She showed up during the reception to assist with holding lights and chasing me around the dance floor. That may not seem like a big deal…. But she’s 9 months pregnant! Love that girl! Thanks, Kristen!
Laura’s dress…… OMG! One of my favorites! I loved the lace and the long sleeves. It was perfectly elegant and bridal! Her cathedral veil added to the romance.
I love the next two photos of Laura and her daughter. Her little girl will love these of her and mama when she gets older.
Stunning Laura!!
Don’t you love that Laura’s mother walked her down the aisle, and her dad married them! So sweet!
First KISS as Mr. + Mrs.!!!
One of my favorite parts of the day was Laura’s sister singing a song that Laura wrote to Ken. It was so emotional and heartwarming. I had to hold back tears. Laura and her sister form a band called White Acres. Check them out!
Laura wanted a photo under the gorgeous tree that led to the wedding site. The string lights add such a romantic touch!
