Farm fresh veggies, sun-kissed skies, and two of my favorite people, this was our morning last Thursday. I had been wanting to take the kids to the 710 U Pick since last year, but just never had the chance. I am so glad we did this year! I was in amazement over how gorgeous the veggies were. There is something so fulfilling and wonderful about picking your own produce from the ground.
My kids were a hot muddy mess by the time we left, but it was totally totally worth it. To my surprise, the mud came out of their clothing! Of course, I had my camera in hand and ready to go. My poor kids can’t go anywhere without some kind of photo shoot. But I love these photos, because they portray my kids being themselves and having good ‘clean’ fun! haha
So what did we get? Tomatoes (Yum), eggplant, collards, kale, red peppers. I made eggplant parm a few nights ago. It was so delicious. I’ll be sharing my recipe in another blog post, so be sure to check it out. It’s almost been a week and the produce has stayed so incredibly fresh.
I will be going every week while the farm is open for the season. Got check it out Ya’ll!
