Christine and Jesse’s wedding was magical. I had been looking forward to their special day for the longest time because they are such a joy to be around. Not only that, but the wedding venue they chose, Mansion at Tuckahoe, is just stunning. The natural setting with coastal views, and a gorgeous mansion atop a hill, create such a romantic atmosphere for a wedding.
I love how Jesse and Christine chose to have a ‘first touch’ before the ceremony. They had their backs to one another, but were able to hold hands. It was so sweet seeing the way they smiled as their hands met behind the door.
Their day had just the right amount of sunshine, and an amazing breeze that kept guests perfectly cool. During the ceremony Christine descended a long winding staircase with her father. She looked gorgeous, and Jesse was beaming as he watched her approach the altar.
After the ceremony we headed off for more pictures. The light was absolutely glorious, as you’ll see in the photos below! The reception was held on the same open patio as the ceremony. As it approached night fall, gorgeous string lights lent a charming glow to the dance floor.
Christine and Jesse, thank you so much for the honor of photographing your special day! It truly was magical! xo
