The day unfolded with gorgeous blue skies, and a welcomed breeze coming from the ocean. For days leading up to Saturday, the sky had unleashed an enormous amount of rain, and terrible thunderstorms. I was a little apprehensive as to what the day would hold. But what was I worried for? Mother Nature graced us with sun kissed skies; perfect wedding weather!
I hadn’t met Kaley or Kevin in person, only phone conversations and emails, since the live out of state. I told my second shooter, Danielle, that Kaley seemed like she would be a cool bride. She was! From the minute we met her, she was all smiles, and having a blast with her bridesmaids. Exactly how it should be!
As Kaley had her hair and makeup done, we photographed her gorgeous details. Check out her Watters gown below! It was absolutely stunning, and perfect for her ocean wedding. I loved the full skirt and how the wind swept playfully through the layers. You can even see the movement in some of the photos. The amazing flowers where done by Julie Miner Events. You’ll stop scrolling for a minute when you see Kaley’s bridal bouquet! It’s a stunner, and the way it compliments her wedding gown is just exquisite!
We soon met Kevin as he arrived at the Cocoa Beach Inn to meet Kaley for their first look! He was looking dapper in his awesome suit, and was just as amazing as Kaley. When he saw her for the first time in her beautiful gown, his smile and eyes were proof of how much he loved her. If you don’t already know Kaley and Kevin, let me just say, they have the most beautiful relationship. It just shows by the way the interact with one another. They laugh a lot, and are just so darn adorable when they are together.
We arrived at the Cocoa Beach Pier for the ceremony, and were welcomed by sunny skies and a perfectly blue ocean. Then Kaley started walking down the aisle with her father. It was a gorgeous sight as the music played softly and Kaley approached her groom. She looked like a princess bride!
At the reception, we captured some sweet photos of Kaley dancing with her Father. He had given a speech earlier in the evening that had guests laughing, and wiping tears away. The vibe at the reception was lighthearted and fun, just like Kaley and Kevin. You could hear the ocean’s waves lapping gently on the shore as a cool breeze drifted through Keith’s Oyster House. Nearing the end of the night, corn hole games commenced on the sand outside of the restaurant. So fun!
Kaley and Kevin’s wedding day was a huge success. Thank you both for having me take part on your special day! You have no idea what an honor that is. You two are made for each other and I wish you nothing but happiness and love in your life as Mr. and Mrs. Brock! xo
